The use of the CPL filter in photography
- Glare reduction: The main purpose of CPL filters is to reduce glare on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, plant leaves, leading to more natural and clearer images. This is especially useful in landscape photography, where glare can be a nuisance, but it also finds its way into other fields such as product, street and portrait photography.
- Improve contrast and color saturation: reducing glare allows you to photograph through glass or water sheets, improve sky colors and expose clouds.
- Improving sharpness: a CPL filter can improve sharpness when photographing near and far objects that are obscured by water vapor, fog, or even blurry clouds.
- It protects against dust, scratches, dust and other mechanical damage, which is especially important in outdoor conditions – but it will also find its use in the studio.

The filter has as many as 28 coatings (14 on each side). Thanks to them, the filter not only effectively protects against dirt and scratches, but also minimizes unwanted light reflections, resulting in clearer and higher-contrast photos. Due to the protective coatings used, keeping the filter clean is much easier.
Coatings used:
- Hydrophobic coating (makes water droplets do not settle on the surface and running off does not leave stains)
- Oleophobic coating (Greasy marks are much harder to stick to the surface and easier to remove)
- Scratch-resistant coating (Ensures long-lasting usability of the filter by protecting it from mechanical damage such as scratches and scrapes)
- Anti-reflective coating (Eliminates unwanted reflections and glare)
Japanese AGC Glass
You don’t have to worry about loss of image quality – the filter uses Japanese AGC glass with light transmission of over 99%. In addition, the use of 6H hardness glass makes the filter even more resistant to mechanical damage, guaranteeing long-lasting functionality.

Simple Operation, Great Effects
With simple installation and removal, our filter provides easy handling, allowing quick adaptation to changing photographic conditions. The tabs located on the holder make it much easier to mount/remove the filter on the lens. Attaching the filter is done by screwing it onto the lens – in order to select a filter of the right size, check the thread diameter of the lens on which it is to be attached (usually this information can be found on the lens or lens cap and is marked with a Φ sign, e.g. Φ52 mm).
