Complaint Submission Rules

At Calumet, we are committed to the highest quality of our products. However, if you encounter any issues, you can exercise your right to file a complaint. Below, you will find information on how to submit a complaint quickly and efficiently.

Basis for Complaint

A complaint can be filed in the following cases:

  • A manufacturing defect of the product,
  • Damage resulting from a hidden material or production defect,
  • Product non-compliance with the purchase agreement.

Complaints do not cover mechanical damage caused by improper use, normal wear and tear of the product, damage resulting from external factors (e.g., water damage, exposure to high temperatures).

How to Submit a Complaint?

To submit a complaint, follow these steps::

1. Prepare the required documents:

      • Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice),
      • Photos showing the defect,
      • Serial number - if you have one (applies to Backpacks and Bags)
      • A description of the issue, including details about the circumstances of the defect.

2. Fill out the complaint form:

Go to the complaint form. In the form, you need to provide the following information:

      • Select the brand of the product being reported,
      • Choose the type of complaint (e.g., Warranty Claim - RMA, Pre-sale Complaint - DOA, Transport Damage, Packaging Damage, Missing Item, Other),
      • Detailed description of the issue and the circumstances in which it occurred,
      • Date of purchase (exact purchase date),
      • Contact and address details (full name, email, phone number, correspondence address),
      • Photos of the defect (attach images showing the issue),
      • Proof of purchase (attach a scan of the receipt or invoice).

If the complaint is about a Calumet bag or backpack and you have the serial number (S/N:) on the sticker in the label or the product packaging, enter it in the ‘Description of claim’ field.

3. Send the product (if required):
If the product needs to be sent for verification, you will be informed via email. Please ensure the product is carefully packed to prevent additional damage during transportation.

Complaint Processing Time

Complaints are reviewed within 14 days from the date of receiving the complaint or the product (if additional inspection is necessary).

Resolution Options

Depending on the defect type and its cause, we offer the following solutions:

      • Product repair,
      • Replacement with a new item,
      • Refund (if repair or replacement is not possible).
